photographers- inspiration

August Sanders : who is he and what types of photorgaphy, did he do?

August Sander (17 November 1876 – 20 April 1964) was a German portrait and documentary photographer. He is described as one of the important German photographers of the early 20th century. He was born in Herdorf, the son of a carpenter in the mining industry.
When looking at his photographs , you see there is a story behind each photo, telling the story of the person in the photo.I have been inspired by Sander's when taking portraiture, to tell a story using a photo of someone by the way they look/ dress and if they are holding anything.

Below is an example of Sander's work.

What is feminism???

Throughout history, women have always struggled to gain respect, equality, and the same rights that men enjoy. The general definition of feminism:- it is a philosophy in which women and their contributions are valued as much as a man's, it is based on social , political and economical equality.

Feminism can be described as a movement/ a revolution that includes women and sometimes men who wish the world to be equal with out having any boundaries.

These boundaries are better known as discrimination and biases against gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, and even economic status.
Feminist view the world as being unequal and wish to see the gender gap and idea of that men are superior to women decreased.
